Product Description

Apigenin is a bioflavonoid with broad application prospects in disease prevention and treatment. It is a potent flavonoid compound found in many fruits and vegetables, particularly abundant in chamomile where it accounts for 68% of the total flavonoid content. Each gram of dried parsley contains approximately 45 mg of apigenin. Fresh parsley contains 215 mg of apigenin per 100 grams.

Apigenin has broad application prospects in disease prevention, treatment and various health-promoting effects. It achieves these benefits by modulating various biological pathways in the body.

►Multiple studies have shown that this compound possesses potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant functions, this makes it an ideal candidate drug for reducing disease risk.

►Research has found that apigenin has positive effects on multiple systems in the human body, such as the respiratory, digestive, immune, and reproductive systems. It can effectively treat liver, lung, heart, kidney, and nervous system diseases, diabetes, and helps maintain good oral and skin health.

►Multiple research reports indicate that this compound can inhibit various types of cancer by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest, inhibiting cell migration and invasion, reducing inflammation, and inhibiting angiogenesis.

►When apigenin is used in combination with other drugs, it can enhance drug efficacy, reduce the risk of side effects, and improve chemotherapy response.

Apigenin can be obtained not only from natural plants but also through chemical synthesis. It’s apperance is a yellow crystalline solid, the purity is more than 98% ,It’s melting point is approximately 348C.
